Low Poly Task








Thease are 2 of my low poly models i have made form the group task the pig is low poly and did not cause me to many problems when creating it and i am overall happy with the pig.

The ice cream truck on the other hand has been causing problems at every opportunity as you can see it has a base shadow on it off some issue with some vertexes and edges i have reduced the effects significant by removing vertexes and drawing new edges on to it.

The Low poly task has been interesting to work under the constrained of 1000 tris in most case's i have not hit the limit but finding ways to reduce the number of them has been fun from removing parts you will never see ( The pig does not have a a bell or feet). My group has worked well to make a full low poly environment with a large collection of models to go with it.

Games Company

In the future I can see my see my self doing level design and programming for games this would be my preferred position

 I’ll also be happy to go into 3d modelling/concept art for other company's.Game Dev They have offices in Lincon, London and Leeds this is good mix of areas with good locations.  They have a competitive salary and a good benefits package. Being a fan of the serious I am familiar with there products.

Blizzard while not as big as some other triple a devs have a great portfolio of games which they love
and support for example diablo 2 which was released around 5 years ago is still supported and
given updates by blizzard this shows they still have a love for there games . There Portfolios is small
but high quality with there recent release over-watch with million sales

Heads

This Period i have get a collection of heads to use as reference to learn how to drawn  heads from using construction lines.
I also learned of ecorche which is under the skin on body it shows the muscle this is a good way to see the head from a different point of view i did one as Obama

Later on i'll making a moodboard of heads which i'll use as inspiration fro mne

Room Project First stage done


I have Completed the modeling part of the room project and now my next step is the UV mapping and texturing. Today i modeled the chair and a few small items such as the lamp, a book, a few more boxes and a power supply. I also added a headboard to the bed as i forgot it last time.

The To do the texturing i have all of the models saved separately which i'll texture and re-import into the main scene. Over all i am happy with the rooms and i think it stays to my real rooms pretty accurately. Ignoring the messiness

Finished Ident Submission

The ident is now fully finished and rendered the animation is of a movie clapboard going down a slide then jumping once it hits the end of the movement. The original lasted for 14 seconds and had a larger path and movement on it, i had to cut it down due to time limitations.

Out of the 12 principles of animation i used arc, anticipation. I also used staging as towards the end i centered the camera on the clapboard. A few problems i ran into were the animation becoming very rough on the corners to fix this i used the graph editor Euler filter which helped clear it up. The other issue was the animation was too long and i had to cut it down.

In the future if i was to go back and improve it i would fix the lighting ( Shadows under the slide), i'll extend the animation and clear up some of the textures like on the clapboard its self.
